- Would you like a steak? From now on, our guests can also choose from selected steak specialties on request and for an additional charge in winter. The meat comes exclusively from Austria and is sourced in the best quality. A good steak takes time - and therefore a preparation time of around 45 minutes should be expected. If you come back from the mountain particularly hungry, you can order your steak the day before and you won't have to wait that long. - Saturday night date? At DAS Kohlmais there is sushi on the black table! The black table can be reserved exclusively for 5 to 10 people every Saturday in winter. Chef Tobi Gappmaier and his team present a creative soup classic as a starter, followed by an inspiring variety of sushi. Of course, as we are used to at DAS Kohlmais, homemade. Appropriately, a dessert is served at the end, which puts the enjoyable crown on the head of the evening. The table reservation is possible until Saturday, 09:00 a.m. and can only be booked according to availability in the winter season. Being quick is worth it!
- Attention gourmets! For all DAS Kohlmais guests we serve new homemade cakes every day (for a fee). It is baked what the fresh goods from the region give. And because Tobi Gappmaier and his team attach great importance to sustainability, fruit from Austria is pickled and preserved in autumn. Depending on the treat, apricots, strawberries and plums adorn the delicious pieces of cake even in winter. Chocolate lovers, crème lovers and sprinkle fans will also get their money's worth.
